Barker-Mill Foundation (BMF) attends the launch of paediatric intensive care unit extension ‘Kyla’s Space’ at Southampton General Hospital .
Kyla’s Space is an extension of the paediatric intensive care unit at Southampton general hospital and includes two new beds with all the equipment necessary for saving the lives of children in intensive care. BMF donated £10,000 to the Murray Parish Trust (a charity set up by actors Sarah Parish and James Murray following the passing of their daughter, Ella-Jayne in 2009), who has raised money for this extension. The donation from BMF has helped fund the much needed extension of the PICU.
