Barker-Mill Foundation has donated £1,000 to a local nursery in Fawley. Copthorne Nursery is part of Romsey & Waterside Day Services, supporting adults with learning disabilities in the local area and providing a day service for them. Those who attend develop horticultural skills; increase their independence and it offers meaningful activities that build confidence and a sense of achievement.
The donation will be going towards a new accessible log cabin, preparatory groundworks as well as furniture and equipment suitable for those in their care.
