£2,500 has been gifted to Marie Curie Cancer Care from the Barker-Mill Foundation (BMF) towards the charities nursing service in Hampshire.
Marie Curie nurses provide free nursing care at home for people who are in the last few weeks or days of their lives. The nurses aim is to make patients more comfortable by helping with physical symptoms and relieving anxiety. Last year the Hampshire team provided 12,600 hours of care in the area, and the donation from BMF will help them continue to provide this invaluable service in 2017.
