A donation of £250 was made to fund the Royal British Legion of Festival of Remembrance in Colbury. The funding went towards the hire of Colbury Memorial Hall and Ocean Brass who performed at the event. All profits made from the event were donated to the Poppy Appeal.
Past events have raised over £1,000 for the charity and the organisers hope to repeat the success. The annual event raises funds for The Royal British Legion’s essential welfare work for our Service men and women, veterans, and their families.
